Already preparing for the worst...if you get WLd for K at Saint Ann's, do they ever accept those kids if they reapply for first grade?

- We were waitlisted. Told there are next to no spots for 1st. Only if you are big, big $$ or celebrity. Too many sibs enter at 1st.

      - We were told no boy spots, too. My understanding is that they do have some spots for girls though for first. Who knows?

        So why they interview boys for the 1st grade? They should say no spot and send a check back.

        If you already applied for K you don't have to pay to apply for first so I can't comment on sending a check back.

        np: That is their MO. Last year over 400 families applied for K paying $150 each. Turns out they had less than 10 spots (total) after sibs. They knew that going in to the process.

We were told no boy spots, too. My understanding is that they do have some spots for girls though for first. Who knows?
