  • Anyone one live in Riverdale - do you like it? tell me about it - DH is really into it as its cheap. TIA

    • Yes and can't wait to move. The stores suck and groceries are ridiculously overpriced. The rent/buy prices are good but the inconvenience and expense of getting out of Riverdale without driving is too much. Express bus $5.each way. If you're looking at buying house/apt west of the parkway, with a garage/parking space and drive everywhere anyway, then it might be good for you. We much prefer Upper Manhattan.

    • If you have to drive everywhere, might as well be in the suburbs, where you would get good grocery stores
