On CBS MoneyWatch: The Dumbest Generation: Who Is It?

  • Going to sleep with someone new for the first time in 16 years this coming weekend and I have two questions: will I seem like a prude if I ask for the lights to be off? It will make me feel less inhibited. Also: anything I can do to make myself feel more attractive naked?

    • I think you may want to "spin" things in a positive way, like "please turn off the lights" (which sounds like you hate your body) to just shutting them off yourself and not mentioning it or maybe dimming them at least? Also, I read some article in some cheesy women's mag and to get ready for your date, spend the day making yourself feel good. Hit the gym (great for body image), shower/shave/nice lotions/etc eat well so you're not starving but don't pig out and put on some nice lingerie plus makeup, clothing, whatever makes you feel good. TRUST ME he is not obessing over your "love handles" the way you are!!!!!

        • In some ways I like my dw's breasts better post children. Without getting too graphic, I love the image -- when she is on her knees -- of her breasts swaying. There is something really hot about that image.

            • I'll bet I am not. There is a pretty big segment of the porn industry for "natural" breasts. There is a reason for that. The reason -- there are a lot of guys out there (like me) who like the look of natural breasts. One of the things about natural breasts is they react to gravity and the environment. I say celebrate that. PLUS, let's be honest... we (the men) don't look at women with 1/100th the critical eye you women look at yourselves/each other.

                • Men find women attractive. Period. There is something about the female form. The grace of your curves. The way you can be soft yet strong. The promise of it all.
