      • How long before they start to feel "normal". my friend has been hospitalized for a week now and is still having psychotic episodes/hallucinations. she's terrified as are we. she needs to be psychosis free for 7 days before she can be discharged

        • OR: That I don't know, as how people respond to antipsychotic medication is very individual. It may take some time for them to find the right meds and dosage for her. You might want to google "DSM diagnostic criteria for postpartum psychosis". You should be able to find info. on the course there. If not, let me know and I'll look it up.
