Sweetie, you're the one with the disorder. Please don't villify us because you're lazy and indulgent and feed your kids crap so you don't trigger their "pickiness."
[ Reply | Options ]Oh, Gogurt Mom, there you are again. Hope your little one is enjoying their RDA of high-fructose corn syrup, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, artificial colors, artificial flavors, stabilizers, preservatives, and all those other goodies you just love to cram down his picky l'il throat!

The ones who farm them out to nannies 6am-8pm, including weekends, and then complain how tiring it is to raise a child.
[ Reply | Options ]Are these any more annoying the ones who stroll their kids around to Starbucks all day long to meet with the girls, and then go shopping, and then go to the gym or out with the jogging stroller, with no other responsibilities in the world, and then complain about how hard their "job" is? Please.

It's a FACT most foods marketed directly to dcs are CRAP. No judgment involved. Ask any a nutritionist.
[ Reply | Options ]I'm talking about the OP, who asked the question, the or who made fun of you, you and most of the posts on other subjects below you. This issue is not whether you are right or wrong but how much pleasure you get out of putting others' parenting down.
[ Reply | Options ]Sorry, but it's a simple truth certain foods are junk. If someone wants to get their knickers in a twist over that being insulting to them, too bad. Gogurt isn't suddenly not going to be junk just because someone who serves it to her dcs might feel bad when that fact is mentioned! At any rate, with the growing obesity rate among kids, it's obviously high time for people to feel judged and maybe do something about minimizing the processed garbage they feed their kids.

Not nice ladies. If your child had a nut allergy, you would sympathize. Its not easy reading every single label for traces of nuts. Worse yet, imagine your child dying in your arms from such allergy. Be thankful your child does not have to suffer with such an allergy and show some kindness and compassion for those that do.

Moms who waste their time on anonymous boards instead of playing with their DCs. Oh crap - that's me.
[ Reply | Options ]the one who is convinced she's doing it right and anyone doing it otherwise is doing it wrong
[ Reply | Options ]The germ-o-phobe mom. My 3 yo dd was once playing with a baby in a store, with her father standing right there silently observing and smiling the whole time. Minutes later the baby's mother comes huffing up to me asking "Is your daughter healthy? She just touched my baby!" And recently I heard a mom say to her son (who was horsing around with another boy) "No touching! I don't want any diseases coming home!"

UrbanBaby Asks...
Are you expecting something special from your dh for Valentine's Day?
- Yes, and he's in big trouble if he forgets.
- Yes, but it's not something I care about.
- No, thank goodness.
- No, and I'm already fuming. He's so unromantic!
- Don't know...
