  • DS is starting private in two weeks for K. We didn't get a supply list-does that mean we don't buy supplies? That was such a part of my childhood experience!

    • Most private schools don't ask parents to buy supplies. Usually all you need is a backpack large enough to hold a full-size file folder and maybe a lunch box.

      • I went to private school many years ago, and while the school had plenty of supplies, we always got new clothes and new school supplies. more stuff for our personal use/enjoyment like fun markers, stencil stuff, protractor/compass, ruler, pencils, scissors, elmer's glue, paste. not sure i used it at school, but we got it nonetheless.
