  • What do you think about the theory that this whole late potty training movement was spawned by the diaper companies? It seems that babies all over the world are being potty trained as early as 9 mo, have any of you tried this?

    • i tried to train early but alas it didn't work. diapers are non-degradable and a bane on our society. GL

    • Under about 18 months, its not the kids who are potty trained, it's the parents. i think that probably the majority of kids can be day trained around 2 yo, but for the minority who really are not ready, it's probably detrimental to "force" it so i think in this age of child-led parenting, the consensus is not to even try unil much later when all kids are "ready"
