  • I want to transition from teaching middle-school to college. Just finished a MFA in fiction. I know adjuncting is lousy pay but how do I land that first job?

        • You could send a CV cold to all the branches of CUNY (incl. the 2-years). Rutgers advertises every semester for comp. The English market is swamped (as I'm sure you know), but you could get lucky.
