dd and i don't have many close friends -- and the few we do have are either single or don't have kids. our 2yo is an only child and isn't around other kids often. when she is (for classes, etc) she is shy and doesn't interact much with them. i'm hoping things will change once she's in school, but in the meantime am I worrying too much that this will have a lasting effect on her social interaction with others?
