Any NYC homeschoolers on? Do you hire any tutors during your day? If so, is there a company you'd recommend. Please don't reply simply to trash homeschoolers.

I quit my job two years ago to home-school my two children, it has been a challenge. I can cover everything but math and needed help with that one. I started using Manhattan Edge last Sept for an hour every Mon - Fri afternoon and think they do a good job.

[ Reply | Options ]5(will be 6 in Oct) and 8 yrs old. I use them an hour every day, at 3 PM, Mon - Fri. btw, I leave and run a few errands sometimes while the tutor is here, it is good to have a break. I am impressed with the results, i think my DC are very good at math, but they seem to pick it up quicker from someone else than me. I think they like having a break from me too.
