  • think my water may've broke....it did with my first but I was 100% sure....sitting typing and a sudden trickle/gush...nothing else....been losing mucus plug over last day and the color was greenish....ughhhh.....no labor yet....wait?

    • gross, but so much of pregnancy is...does it smell like urine? I had a small gush and then nothing until later

      • didnt smell....so gross....i was so sure the first time....it was alot....this was just a gush. BUT I wasnt sneezing, coughing, etc.....

    • Me, 39 weeks, I just had the experience of waking up with wet undies in the middle of the night thinking water broke. It didn't seem like they expalined like the whole bed was wet or anything, but called OB at 4:30 in the am, she recommended to go to the L&D at my hospital to check. I did,they gave me an internal examine, ultrasound and ph test, it was not amniotic fluid. But I would have worried myself sick if I didn't check it out.

    • if it was greenish, that could mean meconium in the fluid and you need to call your ob right away.
