  • I just got pos. HPT this AM! First time pg. I called doc and will go in at 8 weeks. How should I tell DH?!? I think he will be excited and happy, I want to make it special. I'm out of town now and won't see him for a week, I want to do it in person of course. Any ideas for telling him? When did you tell your mom? I can't believe this is actually happening.

    • Congrats! I don't think I'd be able to hold out a week - I would tell him now. We told family at about 8 weeks (my mother passed away several years ago, or I might have told her sooner).

    • congrats! a friend of mine just left her bottle of prenatal vitamins in a prominent place and waited for dh to notice.
