  • due in oct w/ db #2 and im on the fence about bf'ing. almost 98% sure im not going to and i feel Soooooo guilty. i bf dc #1 for only 3 wks, well pumped. i can't get over the guilt feeling. wwyd?

      • np: I agree. I know several women who really struggled the first time, and found it much easier the second time. See how you feel then, and if it's still a struggle, know that you tried and switch to bottles.

      • i have really bad inverted nipples so pumping is the way for me and it was so much work. having dc at home and waking up when baby is sleeping to pump, its such a hassel. and no the sheilds didnt work well for me....

    • Do what makes you comfortable and happy - the baby will be able to tell if you're reluctant about nursing. Had a great lactation consultant tell me what you do with your baby is much more important than what she eats.
