  • We have been living in a rental for a year during renovation to our home. Now landlord is showing apartment for next tenant. Am I awful to ask that I get notice the day before any realtor brings somebody in? Past week somebody came in while I was gone and I had tampsons, pads and dirty diapers all around (wnet out for errands.) So embarrassing.

    • I think reasonable notice is the least you can expect. I don't know that a full day is called for. But at least a few hours notice.

    • I am a Realtor and I would insist the landlord allow me to provide notice to the tenant. I can't stand to show a filthy apartment.
