my dh may declare bankruptcy. does anyone have any experience with this? or any advice?

IME, people overestimate how much bankruptcy will help their near term financial situation and underestimate how siginifcant the impact will be down the line. Many people think a bankruptcy will only impact you for 7 years, which is an urban legend. Talk to an attorney and a financial advisor with tax knowledge first.
