  • If you went away for the weekend w/out DH and when you called he never picked up but would text and only call on his own schedule would you worry he was up to something?

    • is he with the kids? if so and if he's not used to it then maybe he is super busy. my dh does that

    • I am not particularly suspicious and haven't had reason to be, so I would let it be and think he was busy, tired, hibernating, etc.

    • Nope, my DH has a Blackberry and that's how we communicate when he travels, mostly by e-mail/text with very occassional calls.

    • I would tell him my text isn't working and that he need to call me. Honestly though, I would probably say- Why are you not calling me? What are you up to ? and joke around that I was going to send my friend to check in on him. I would do it lightly as a joke and see what he said.
