  • I think I'm pregnant and just made an appointment with my ob. Should my husband come with me to the appointment? I don't want him to miss anything, but I'm not sure if much happens at the first appointment.

    • Have you taken a test? DH came with me to my first appt with DB1 just so he could meet the doctor. There was nothing really for him to do. It was too early to hear the heartbeat, but I think it was nice for him to do something at that early stage. After that he just came to the ultrasounds.

      • yes, I've taken a home test. good point. I don't know this dr well, so if I want to check out other ones, it would be good to get my husband's opinion from the start. thanks
