lol my first day of kindergarten...my mom stayed the whole day. The second day of kindergarten was awful, I cried all day until they finally had to call my mom and have her spend time with me. At least I wasn't the little girl who was in my class who stayed in a refrigerator box in the classroom the whole week
[ Reply | Options ]DS did pretty well. Transitions are not his strongest thing, but he got a truly wonderful teacher and a nice bunch of kids, and that made a big difference. Also his teacher met w/ him in the classroom before the week before school started so he knew better what to expect. And she definitely ended up "getting" him a lot better than his preschool teachers did.

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
