  • Any mom's on that went to an RE to get preg on? Took a year to get preg and m/c at 13 weeks. Been TTC over a year and we now have an appt with an RE. What can I expect on the first visit? Been through 3 failed IUI's with ob/gyn. Since I got preg on my own am I still looking at IVF?

    • Hi, you did IUI with Ob/Gyn? Where do you live? I went to an RE in NYC first couple months are diagnostic work up, checking blood levels, I had an HSG, then a hysterosonogram. Also had DH checked. Were you taking any ovulation stimulating drugs?

    • Went to RE @ BIMC. Took medical history and ordered a bunch of blood tests. Plus gave us a schedule to come in for additional tests.
