  • What do you think about Newburgh, NY? Saw a house there (online) that would be perfect for us.

    • I grew up in the next town and went to high school there. I would never move there with my family. You get what you pay for IMO.

    • take a drive through the downtown and you'll get a fuller picture of the area. Very economically depressed and high crime.

    • It's a tough commute to NYC, but at least you're near the outlets. Have no clue about schools up there though. My brother lives nearby and it's a tad "urban," if you know what I mean.
