i have 2 dc - older dc is in program all day so day is a lot easier, but i feel like nanny does less now than ever. i am not home. WWYD? looking for tactful approach also - when i do call her cell she seems to be on it all the time and does not answer - usually returns my call later.

[ Reply | Options ]np: how is the work not easier if you have 1 dc instead of 2? Sure the hours are teh same, but there is only one dc's needs to manage. As a mom, my day is much harder with 2 than 1, 3 than 2.
[ Reply | Options ]fine. but it's still hard--that's the point. I think OP is thinking she shouldn't have to pay so much now that 1 dc is in school part of the day.
[ Reply | Options ]nnp: Not necessarily. If your kids play together, it's easier with both of them. If one of my kids is somewhere I need to entertain the other one.

not to be rude, but if you aren't willing to stay home with your child even though it is so "easy" you can't really complain about having to pay someone else to do it

When I ride in a taxi cab with my DC I:
- Use a carseat
- Buckle him/her in his/her own seat
- Hold him/her on my lap
- I'd never ride in a taxi with my DC, it's much too dangerous!
