  • Say you invited someone over to your house and a month later your mom was diagnosed with cancer. Then that same person went to another relatives house and their daughter was diagnosed with a different kind of cancer. Then that same person was invited to a wedding, and was upset that the rushed wedding was stealing the thunder of her own wedding and the bride ended up with inflamed molar that left looking like a chipmunk on her wedding day. Then the family whose daughter had cancer and had been doing really well had this person over for a second time and now their daughters cancer is back worse than before. Would you blame anyone for not wanting to invite this person to their house, or chance it on the grounds of coincidence?
