  • Is there such a thing as a sleep specialist for babies? In NYC? Need some advice; ped isn't really that great at these things. Thanks.

    • there are lots of books. There are pediatricians who specialize in this area (many of them have written books, and many of them offer conflicting advice) and I'd guess in NY there's someone, but I don't know offhand.

    • if they have a real sleep issue thank yo uneed a doc. if it's just how to get the baby to sleep through the night I recommend Janine Hayward at swellbeing.com
