  • Can you and how can you set up folders in GMAIL? i have so many msgs in my inbox that i want to file away. HELP!!! tia.

      • well, that sucks...i wonder why. also, when i archive msgs, i have no idea where they go and how to retrieve them. any idea?

    • ^^^i do not see any options to do so like yahoo acct where it is easy to set up folders.

    • I think that the premise of gmail is that it has a powerful search engine, so you don't need folders b/c you can search for whatever you want. It's annoying

    • closet thing to folders: attach labels to the emails and then archive the emails-- they will be archived with that label so when you click on the label (to the left of your inbox) all the emails will come up

    • Yes - attach labels, then when you go to the label it is like a folder where all those messages are.
