  • Poll: Do you live in the house where your kids will grow up? Or do you plan to move again?

    • I think we do. We have no plans to move again--but you just never know what the future holds. But when we bought this house it was with the long-term in mind.

    • We live in a brownstone with enough space (just enough) for our 2 dc, but I just can't picture this being their "real" house. Maybe because NYC is so different from where I grew up (Ohio).

    • I hope not, we live in a 2 bed 1300 sf apt and expecting #3. We pay $6000 a month so we are looking to buy but probably can't afford anything in our neighborhood

    • We'll probably move but it'll only be a few blocks away to a 1-family instead of the 2-family house that we're now using as a 1-fam.

    • providing dh always works in this city, we will stay in this house. but i would love, love, love for dh to find a job elsewhere and try out a new city.

    • Barring any unforeseen circumstances, yes. Love our condo, but paying off an outrageous mortgage for it.
