      • Why on earth should she? Blueberries are full of nutrition & one of the most fun things a toddler can eat!

      • I didn't realize he had eaten them all. I WAH, nanny gave db a bowlfull of blueberries while she was reading to him after his lunch (which consisted of a little bit of grilled cheese and some squash), and then she left him with them while she went to do laundry, I came into the room and the bowl was empty.

        • I'd be more concerned she left him alone eating blueberries. I am not one of those moms who cuts them in half, but i wouldn't let my dd eat them unsupervised either.

      • ^^ I will be honest with you. I did this when I was three. My mom sent pint of blueberries that I told her I was going to share with my preschool class, but really I ate the whole thing. I got the runs and was terrified and upset running from toilet to toilet at my school so that my teacher wouldn't know it was me who had shit herself and all over the bathroom. It remained one of my most traumatic childhood memories. As an adult I did not eat a blueberry again until I was in my 20's and I told people that I had terrible allergic reactions to them. So while I was not physically harmed, there are other things to consider. This is clearly a subject close to my heart.

        • I'm sorry you had that experience. I hope this doesn't happen to my ds of course, but as he is only 14mo I doubt he'll remember it as traumatically, and anyway, he's still in diapers
