    • Cute, buy each child a window box and some small blooms. If you can find wooden boxes they can even paint and personalize the boxes first

    • why not buy some pots, soil, seeds and have them plant and decorate the pot as the party activity. The cake and paper goods could reflect the gardening theme

    • I think Science Teacher Sarah could really help you with this one! And great party favor idea: The Gardener (it is a book, very cute)

    • That is so cute, a little Martha Stewart. Contact a gardening place too - you never know. On Sundays they might open it up to you before 12 even if it's not something they normally do. I am thinking of other potential places but price and convenience wise you might have to just rent a place out and have a container gardening party. Like city gardening. (Wave Hill, Bronx Bot Garden, Brooklyn Bot Garden might be too expensive. Central Park might have some type of walk or kids thing (but I doubt it). They might have nature parties in Prospect Park? Or maybe it's bird watching). Hmm... Potential places for rental - Rhinelander's "Art Atrium", St. Vartan's Playground.

    • ny botanical garden does this-will have to coordinate getting everyone to the bronx, but with metro north, it is actually quite easy.

    • In Brooklyn - Added Value Farm in Red Hook. They even have a pumpkin patch.
