Anyone been to Long Beach on the train lately? I haven't been there since DCs were born (3 and 4) -- I'm trying to remember how far a walk it is from the LIRR to the beach-- would they be exhausted on the way back to the train (and would I have to carry them along with a lot of beach crap)? Trying to figure out if it's doable. TIA.
