  • going from wohm with 80+ hour work week to sahm - will have 2 dbs under 2, and getting nervous about this major switch. any tips on how to schedule my day?

    • sure, it is NOT YOUR JOB. Don't approach it as such. Nothing worse than a professional, competitive parent. Just take it as it comes, do the best you can and support those around you trying to keep their head above water just like you. You won't make them a genius and you won't turn them into a serial killer either. They will most likely be average. The days are long, but the years are short, enjoy.

    • Can you afford full time help? I am on maternity leave with dd #2 and I can't imagine doing this without a full time nanny. As it is I think I'm losing it. I'm a worker, not a SAHM. If you are used to 80+ hours, I fear you'll be the same way!

    • congratulations on the switch. I think you'll enjoy it. the nice thing about being home vs. wohn 80+ hrs is that you'll have time to pursue interests
