24 weeks pregnant (w/#3) and having BH every 10 minutes or so - they are pretty short and more of a dull pain (like period cramps) than a sharp pain - doctor?

- YES. call doc, they amy send you ro L&D for monitoring. also drink a lot of water adn get off your feet.

- Please call your doctor - I was in preterm labor. Better to check for nothing than not to get treated if it is indeed preterm labor.

    - A few days in the hospital on drugs (turns out I was contracting every 3 minutes, I didn't feel them all). Then bedrest at home, and a few more trips to hospital before delivering at 35 weeks.

        op - this is what i am having. now i'm scared. i called the doctor earlier today and they said to monitor it and if it gets worse to call back. i am now freaked out that we will have to go to the hospital in the middle of the night.

        My OB had a rule of calling if it was more than 4 an hour for 3 hours (with water and feet up), or more than 6 an hour for 1 hour.

        ^^I see you think you are dehydrated - that's different than having real contractions. Definitely need to up your water intake during the heat.
