recently hired a young babysitter (19) who wears way too much perfume--so much that my kids have the scent on them after she leaves---what do I say? I don't want to offend her obviously

              • that's what I recomended to OP, sort of. I think it would be more kind to tell a white lie and say you are allergic than to say I think you stink

              • a sitter is an employee. You can ask her to wear appropriate clothing or no perfume etc etc. Saying you are allergic is somewhat more kind than a few other options. It allows OP to tell her wishes without embarrasing the sitter

    • My MIL does this and my kids smell like her all time....THe allergy solution, mentioned above, is the best, and I wish i could say that to my MIL!
