  • What is an appropriate raise for a nanny who makes $750 per week now (about $14 per hour). I have given her an additional $50 per week per year for the past 4 years. At what point is enough enough? (2 kids, 1 entering K in fall)

    • At a certain point, I stopped giving raises to my nanny. dc's are in school all day, and she has the house completely under control.

    • No raise esp. w? economy. She should be lucky she has a job, i know a lot of families who are letting their nanny go.

    • I would give something if you can afford it and want her to stay. She's likely expecting $50 a week.

    • No raise. Consider giving her extra time off instead of a bigger cash bonus at bonus times (bday or xams?).

    • I think her raise is that one kid is entering K in the fall.
