  • Is it possible to get through to DOE about placement issues? will they help?

    • Apparently not, have even reached out to Boro Pres & my City Councilperson to get their attention ... it is like triage over there.

        • for real? Many 99ers did not get into NEST nor Anderson and were placed in their 3rd choice school. There were just too many 99ers this year who picked N and A as their first choices.

          • That wasn't OP posting & you don't know what my issue is. My point was that DOE, specifically OSEPO, is such a phenomenal mess right now due to all their bungling that there is a very long line of people needing answers. My prob: no placement at all for K, & hoping to get sib into same undetermined school for PreK on Monday when slots are announced!

              • School accepted, but OSEPO has to OK variance. "In principle" just a formality, but say we will be notified in August -- way past PreK enrollment date... DD was accepted for K by school in April.
