Hijack to post about paying nanny: I have a babysitter who comes 2days a week for 4hrs a day. (Usually DH or I are working-from-home while she watches baby so we can actually do work). She'll often cancel at the very last minute (we're ok with this since we're home anyway and she's really great with DB). And sometimes she can't come b/c the DC she is the primary nanny for need her that day. In this case, if we're going to be on vacation, would you still pay her for the 2days?
