Is there g&t with middle school? once you pass the test for K, do u need to take it again for middle school? or are you grandfathered in the system?

depends. mostly, kids need to apply to middle schools, as they aren't affiliated with any particular elementary schools. some schools (anderson, nest, hunter) have their own middle/HSs, and with rare exception, kids are automatically promoted. (kids need to be in good academic standing, per the school's criteria, for promotion.)
