okay, I've been putting off posting this for fear of being flamed. dd had what is similar to oral exams at school, which will determine her placement for next year, and she has refused to discuss how she did with dh and I. I know she has discussed it with friends and teachers. She also won't tell us why she doesn't want to discuss it.

    - she wants to feel independant and that she can have secrets from you... i think it's totally normal... and if she knows you're dying to know, that makes the secret even sweeter !

- Well, at fifteen, I barley discussed my grades,etc with my parents (I was on good terms with them and was a very good student) as I took responsibility for my own acheivements. I think she''l tell you when she is ready.
