if i can change anything about myself it would be not to be such a worry wort...any ideas on how to do this? it is starting to become a handicap...and i come from a long line of worriers
4 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]I actually saw a therapist about this once and she told me something that really helped. She told me about some study where they asked people what they were most worried about happening in 6 months then they following up; over 90% of the time, the thing did NOT happen. They couldn't believe it, so they did it again but asked for worries over the next year; same result. So, keep in mind that the thing you are worried about most likely won't happen!
