  • The first. I can't see not being there with my children when they are so young.

    • I think I would lose my mind at home all day with the kids. I love them but do not find them stimulating. I did not put myself through college and grad school so I could change diapers and read Dr. Seuss in an endless loops. 4 hrs a day and weekends with the kids is enough.

      • meh. I had a kid so I could be with her. Yes, it is sometimes boring and frstrating. So is work. I put myself through college etc so that I could have choices in life.

      • Sorry this posted as a new topic.... Funny but I found this a welcome change from my professional life. I enjoy the teaching and discovery aspect of being with my kids. It has also refreshed me and when I finally went back to my career I was able to handle it so much more easily. I guess it just depends on the individual.
