  • Really concerned bc my 7mo has flattening on left side of her head. She sits up, has good head/neck control, and there is no asymmetry (sp?) of her face. The ped. keeps saying it looks fine, but a few friends have commented. I put a call into a ped. orthopedist. Is that the right specialist to call? Anyone BTDT?

    • you need to see a neurological surgeon. They can determine if your DC needs a helmet.

    • dd had the same thing. ped said he'd seen worse. didn't see a specialist. and it eventually rounded out. it's from sleeping on their back...skulls are still not hard yet
