  • dh and i would like to learn about the adoption process. we lived in ecuador and would like to adopt from there - possibly siblings. where do we start? can anyone recommend a great adoption agency? TIA!

    • just google and go from there. Most cities also have agencies that will help find the right agency for you. In other words, they don't handle adoptions themselves but help you through the process. GL

    • make sure you go with a big agency, not one that specializes in ecuador, because many countries are deciding not to let americans adopt, and if this happens while you're going through the process, then you're out of luck at a smaller agency.
