ugh name issues for our BOY..dh always suggest wacky names that you just ask yourself..where the hell did this come from. Now he is suggesting names that are ok but don't go with our last name. His latest suggestion is BLAKE. I told him it's used more for a girl. BTW we have an enthnic last name

- I happen to like Blake for a boy, but I agree it might sound fun if your last name was very italian or something. what names do you like?

  - op: I don't like traditional boys names. I find them boring but we do have a hispanic last name and wanted to go that way. I like Sebastian or Matteo but dh said no.

  - haven't posted in a few weeks (we stopped thinking of names) but now he wants Blake. I can't tell you how hard this is. He likes weird, out there names. Nothing that would remotely be liked by anyone. Just too many weird names to mention. Trust me Blake is the most calm name he's suggested. BTW I have let Sebastian and Matteo go. I just posted it answering the OR's questions on what kind of names I like

- I also married into an ethnic last name and had trouble finding a first name that sounded like it fit - nothing too trendy or long (DH last name is quite lengthy). We went with Andrew. I just hope he doesn't shorten it to Andy
