  • planning to try and wean my 8mo, have no idea how to begin, and what kind of formula should i use?

    • can't answer hot to wean, db is only 8 wks but I will use Earth's Best dairy formula when I do. doctor said it is good

    • why you trying to wean? you got this far, why not try for a full year when they are often more readily willing to wean (loss of interest) and can take cow's milk?

      • np: this is not helpful. why are you trying ot make her feel bad? anyway, start by cutting out one feeding every few days. leave the bedtime one for last - its usually the hardest for them to give up. any kind of formula is fine. if db won't take it, try pumping a little and mixing it with the formula til db gets used to the taste.

    • start w/ feeding that is easiest to give up and/or closest to solids (lunch). May be easier to let dh or others give formula. Last feeding I gaveup was just before bed. GL
