  • My 11 mo is really scared of loud noises, even cries sometimes. Anyone btdt? I thought he would have outgrown it by now.

    • yes. dd was just like that. Every time a plane flew overhead or a key jingled in the door she ran screaming to me. Now she is a VERY bright and creative 6 yr old with no sound issues. I think it is just an oversensitivity that mellows with time. and while some may disagree (and will) i think it is linked to the very thing that makes her so smart.
