  • Would you put your dc's desk facing a window or a blank wall...I'm thinking the wall maybe better for concentration, but the window better for dreaming????

    • How old? I'd be inclined to face the wall (and put a bulletin board on it)

      • I have 2 boys and they are very little but I truly truly believe if you treat them like they need a padded playroom they will need one. Don't sell you son short...give him a desk where he can breath and he will learn more

    • honestly WTF - what is your kid a corporate lawyer---if so a cave is appropriate, otherwisw, give him a window, let him dream and later let someone other than you kill his dreams when he is a success

    • definitely a window. Because it helps the eyes to switch back and forth from a short focus to a long focus. And it helps the brain too. The child will be able to stay at the desk longer if they get that visual break.
