  • I am planning to purchase a potty. can anyone suggest a good one? there seem to be a variety out there and am not sure which to buy. babybjorn, summer infant, graco etc. tia.

    • just put insert over regular toilet. so much easier, nothing to clean.

    • the differences are insignificant, IMO. either pick one you like the look of or take kid to store to choose it

    • I just bought the little ring that goes on the seat. DD likes the characters on it. I also heard (but know nothing about it really) that using a potty is rough since you then have to train on the regular toilet.

    • I got the insert for the bathroom and a potty chair for the living room. We used both.

      • If you use the insert for the toilet, you have to get a stool for dc's feet. You don't realize it, but its hard to push out poop if your feet don't give you some resistance.
