What do you think about a SAHM with one child, 10 mo, who has a nanny M-F from 7 am to 8 pm and all day and night for Sat and Sun?
19 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]I was a SAHM with full-time help... I think the full-time weekend help is a bit excessive, though!
[ Reply | Options ]my hope is that she realizes that she is not particularly equipped to be a skilled mother and is compensating for that
[ Reply | Options ]SAHM w/ a part time nanny is lucky. One w/ a full time nanny (especially 13hr a day) is either lazy or uninterested in rearing her own kid.

i don't know. i live my life very differently. but why does a parent have to be hands on? (i mean, she could be hands on even with the help, but i wouldn't know). i can buy a house and hire a housekeeper to clean and maintain it. i can use a decorator to design it. why do i need to change my child's diaper in order to be a parent?
