Ped said it is ok to give DB milk at 10mo (introduce gradually) until DB weaned. Anyone btdt? Would really like to avoid formula.

[ Reply | Options ]You can either digest or not digest something (there is a threshold in there somewhere). I think the 1 year rule is just statistics - like 95% of babies can digest milk by then. Your ped knows your baby, and I'm guessing by 10 months like 50% of babies can do it. If your baby isn't one of them, since you are gradually introducing it, no real harm done.
