Ideas for august beach vacation with a 1yo and 3yo for under $3k? Would going somewhere to Bahamas be possible or is August not a good time for that? Is $3k too low?
15 replies [ Reply | Watch | Options ]I skip the Caribbean that time of year...hurricane season..easier to drive home from Jersey, if absolutely necessary. Try a condo at SeaPointe Village in Diamond Beach/Wildwood Crest NJ or a room in Cape May, NJ at Congress Hall. Both have low key kids programs, and good service as an right near the beach.
[ Reply | Options ]Please check my link; a three hour drive beats the whole flying thing for getting to watch the dolphins breach and frolic in the same ocean you are. http://www.simonecolina.com/quad/ 2 weeks would be under 3k by more than gas and food $$ and it's perfect for kids.
