  • what should i make for dinner for 1 yr old and 4 yr old thats quick and easy ---- RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS

    • scrambled eggs and toast, omelet, birds in a nest (fry egg on top of a piece of bread w/ a piece torn out of it where you put the yolk), grilled cheese, refried beans w/ corn chips, PBJ on whole wheat (this is what I make my dc when dh won't be home til late).

    • I thin cut a family pack of chicken cutlets over the weekend, then grill them in a griddle pan and fridge. Then I use fun shaped metal cookie cutters and make scenes on a plate with ketchup and the chicken and whatever veggie, etc. (For example I used T-rex cutter, broccoli (trees), mashed potatoes and ketchup for volcano. It sounds like a time suck but it took two or three minutes and saved me ten watching (and policing) as ds's eat.
