  • Did anyone ever get old videos (home or whatever) converted into DVD format? I just had a couple done and they seem a bit grainy. I don't know what to expect. I figure I won't get that clear DVD image, since it's converted from an older format, but still, it seems a bit too fuzzy.

    • my mom did this with all our home videos from our childhood and they are nice and clear. They were from the little tapes, not big VHS tapes though. she had a guy do it and he edited them and everything, added music to the sports montages, etc. some of its kind of cheesy, but we all appreciate having those memories preserved in a way we can actually watch.

    • You can do this VERY easily yourself with a VHS DVD recorder for under 100 dollars, I bought one at target, you insert VHS and a blank DVD hit DUB button, when its done you Hit Finalize, voila.
